The HBS group

The HBS group, since 2004.

HBS stands for Home & Business Solutions: the two things a newcomer to Dubai needs first.

The group was founded by Said Lachgar, who still runs it. It grew from one observation: the people buying property in Dubai were the same people forming companies, and nobody served both needs, in French, at one address.

HBS Real Estate is a brokerage registered with RERA, the regulator of the Dubai Land Department, under ORN 1774. HBS Corporate Services, operated by Home & Business Solutions FZE, is a licensed corporate services and accounting practice. Both work from Office 102, U-Bora Tower, Business Bay.

More than 50 professionals work across the two practices: property advisers, corporate advisers, accountants and tax specialists. Clients come from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Québec and the Maghreb, alongside an international clientele served in English.

Why HBS

What “one office” changes for you.

Your broker, your corporate adviser and your accountant share a corridor. Nothing is passed from one provider to the next.

01

One office

Property, company, visas and bank file handled by one team, at one address in Business Bay.

02

One file, both practices

Buying through a company? The purchase and the incorporation move in parallel, on the same documents, with the same advisers.

03

Regulated and traceable

RERA ORN 1774. Transactions registered at the Dubai Land Department. Off-plan payments into DLD-supervised escrow. Returns filed with the FTA.

04

French-speaking, on Dubai hours

French is the first working language, with English and Arabic. The office runs on Dubai time (UTC+4), two to three hours ahead of Paris.

05

A physical office

Office 102, U-Bora Tower. Meet us in Business Bay, or work with us by video call and WhatsApp. Most clients do both.

06

Built for the years after

Property management, annual accounts, licence and visa renewals: we are organised for what follows the signature.

One contact for both files

Your property and your company are handled by teams that share an office. You explain your situation once, to one adviser who keeps it.

Fees agreed before you start

A written quote before any engagement, and agency fees set out before any offer. Nothing reaches the invoice that was not agreed first.

We say what we would not buy

Which project we set aside and why, which structure costs more than it saves. You get a recommendation you can act on, not a catalogue.

Still here after the signature

Letting, management, annual accounts, licence and visa renewals. The years after the deal are the ones that cost you when nobody follows them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is HBS Dubai?
HBS, Home & Business Solutions, is a French-speaking group based in Business Bay, Dubai, founded and still run by Said Lachgar. It has two practices: HBS Real Estate, a RERA-licensed brokerage (ORN 1774), and HBS Corporate Services, which forms and administers companies and keeps their accounts. Both teams share Office 102 in U-Bora Tower and work in French, English and Arabic.
Does HBS work with English-speaking clients?
Yes. French is the group’s first working language and most clients come from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Québec and the Maghreb. The same advisers work daily in English with international clients, banks, developers and the authorities. Official UAE documents are issued in English or Arabic; HBS handles them in that language and explains each step to you in English.
Can HBS handle both my property purchase and my company?
Yes; that is what the group was built for. An investor buying through a company, or a founder relocating with a family, has both files handled in the same office. HBS Real Estate manages the purchase or the rental. HBS Corporate Services sets up the structure, prepares the residence visas and keeps the books. You are not passed from one provider to the next.
Where is the HBS office in Dubai?
Office 102, first floor, U-Bora Tower, 187 Marasi Drive, Business Bay, a few minutes from Downtown Dubai. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 19:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 13:00, Dubai time (UTC+4). Meetings take place at the office or by video call for clients preparing a project from abroad.
Can I start a project remotely with HBS?
Yes. Property shortlisting, investment analysis, the choice of legal structure and document collection are done remotely, by video call and WhatsApp. A few steps require your presence in Dubai: residence visa biometrics and, with some banks, an account-opening meeting. HBS tells you which ones at the first call and groups them so that one trip is usually enough.
How is HBS paid?
For property, HBS Real Estate earns an agency commission in line with Dubai market practice; on off-plan sales it is paid by the developer, not the buyer. For company formation, accounting and visas, HBS Corporate Services issues a written quote before any engagement. A first call is not charged.
